I was driven from shimoga (a small town in southern karnataka) to Hospet. Two rivers Tunga and Bhadra meets at shimoga and flow towards North named as tungabhadra river. Just 45 km from shimoga is augambe and Jog fall, its the second highest rainfall region in india. I had with me my driver "Mr.Reddy". Our company hired his taxi service for easing my operation in southern india. Reddy's are xtremely short tempered species found in karnataka. Hospet town is on border with AP and rich with Iron Ore hence many companies flourish there so does the reddys. It was raining very heavily since last week.
